It's Jim Bob's birthday, but before he can celebrate, he must visit the allergist and get several rounds of allergy injections.

8x07 38 Kids & Counting! (October 18, 2011)

It's a full house when the Duggars once again visit their friends, the Bates. The two families join their 38 combined kids for some fellowship and fun. In addition, the oldest Bates son, Zach, makes a very special request to his girlfriend Sarah to begin a courtship.

8x06 Duggars Under the Sea (October 11, 2011)

The Duggars are under water—in an aquarium that is. The Duggars continue their visit in Atlanta, Georgia with their first ever trip to an aquarium. Later, the family meets professional surfer and shark attack survivor Bethany Hamilton.

The Duggars are in Atlanta for a little work and a lot of play. After attending a speaking engagement, it's time for some fun in the water, which includes jet skiing, tubing and wake boarding. But happiness turns to worry when Jason has a painful and terrifying accident.

8x04 Schoolhouse Duggars (October 04, 2011)

Michelle demonstrates her homeschooling skills as the family prepares for their annual ATI Conference in Big Sandy, Texas. Then, the Duggar kids put what they have learned to practice visiting a Spanish tutor and ordering in Spanish at a restaurant.

The Duggars are roughing it—sort of. Jim Bob sets up a tent for an at-home campout, complete with s'mores and scary stories. Despite a soaring daytime temperature of 105 degrees, the family proceeded with the campout.

8x02 Duggars Over the Edge (September 27, 2011)

The family visits one of the largest waterfalls in North America—Niagara Falls. The Duggars (who are prone to motion sickness) spend the day riding the Maid of the Mist, challenging the Cave of the Winds, and checking out the Jet Boat and Fort Niagara.

The first Duggar grandson is having a full day of firsts: baby Michael has his very first checkup—complete with his very first shot, meets his cousin Amy for the very first time, and is a guest at his very first Duggar birthday party.
