Jizo, the protector of dead children and all creatures trapped in Hell, is usually found in graveyards. Bake-Jizo is a stature placed at crossroads. There is no official record of Bake Jizo's existence - only later recollection of cameraman Shiro Asano, Konishi Honten was photography in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, which imported the first film to Japan.
